Japanese Fleeced by Sheep

Nearly 2000 Japanese may have unwittingly purchased sheep from scammers who passed the farm animals off as one of man’s best friends. Seems people thought they were getting a poodle for 50% off the going price in Japan by buying from an online retailer.
Lessons learned (we hope):
1. If it sounds too good to be true it mostly likely is!
2. Don’t buy pets without researching them first. Preferably see and interact with one in person beforehand!
3. Buy pets from reputable dealers only. Or better yet, skip the purebred and adopt from a shelter!
